Two Bridges

Two Bridges

This a photo from the River Walk in Columbus. These are two bridges that take you to a little island across the Tombigbee River channel. The one on the left is the old bridge that has been restored as a walking trail, and the one on the right is the newer car bridger that replaced the old bridge.

I used to go to the River Walk to run, walk, bike ride or just to take photos, and I have gotten several great shots there. This is probably the most unique one though as far as the editing goes. I really played with the black & white treatment, giving it almost a metallic feel. It was pretty much an accident, but I love the way it turned out.

I enjoyed shooting at this fair a few weeks ago. So many lights and fast moving rides. It was a perfect place to get some light trails and show movement in a cool way.

Here is a nice sunset from Columbus Lake near the Lock & Dam. Sunsets on water are great because it's like you get a double sunset with the reflection off of the water. Enjoy!
