Roadside Tree

Roadside Tree

On my way home from Grenada I spotted this tree out in the middle of a field so stopped and took a couple of photos of it. I love to find "Lonely" trees when I'm out and about, and it's often rare to be able to get a good spot to photograph them, because many are too far from the road and require trespassing to get a good shot of them. Fortunately this one was close to the road and I was able to pull off of the highway to get a good shot of it. I liked that it had some other smaller trees and some pallets at the base to give it some more interest. It's hard to explain sometimes why I think a scene would make a good shot, it's just a feeling I guess.

Enjoyed visiting the square in Calhoun City. I love town squares and how it concentrates everything into one spot which is nice for small local shops that add character to the heart of the town.
