Noxubee Refuge

Noxubee Refuge

Last November I went out to the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge and shot some photos. It was a great time of year to get out there, with the colorful Fall leaves still on the trees. It was during my lunch break so I had to move fast around the area to get as many shots as I could, and I got nowhere near the amount of shots that I wanted to get, so I plan to make more trips out there to cover more of the area, because there are some great places to photograph out there and I encourage you to go visit it if you haven't been out there before. This was the walking deck that takes you to a viewing area on Bluff Lake. I literally stopped about 20 times just on this 1/4 mile path to capture photos because there was just so much great scenery. Check out the Photos page or my Flickr page to see some of those photos.

Here is another shot from the Noxubee Refuge. This one was after the sun had risen enough to start showing the colors in the surroundings.

The shot above was found near Macon, MS right past Noxubee Co. High School on a gravel road that runs right next to the school. I think this is the best type of sky to shoot.
