Library Chairs

Library Chairs

I went exploring inside the Mitchell Memorial Library on the MSU campus during Spring Break, since I knew there would be very few people there. Luckily I was right, so I just walked around with my tripod and took lots of photos. I love taking photos indoors when I can, because it is such a different dynamic with HDR and the results are so different from outdoor shots, especially in a place like this library, where the floors are very shiny and there are various types of lighting. I played with the color a lot with this one to really bring out the reflections and how the light interacts with the floors, walls and ceilings and to also get rid of the sometimes ugly light that can happen in many indoor shots.

I love fall colors and though they are starting to fade away with winter soon approaching I was able to capture this fall scene while returning from a trip to the Noxubee Refuge.
